In areas where there are no Grizzlies, Black Bears get huge. This Canadian black bear has just got way too close to me. He came accross the river as if I was his best friend. I pulled out my bear spray and threatened him with a rock. He understood what the rock was about and backed off. I think he thought I was a fisherman he could steal a salmon from. The brown color variation bears are in Yellowstone.
